A shorter path
to useful software.

Startup Shortlist is an independent directory of SaaS, startups and web applications for people building something of their own.

Clarity before hype

Each listing explains what a product does and who it is for, with a direct link to the official website. We favour concrete uses over long feature lists.

A directory, not a leaderboard

The list is arranged editorially. An editor’s pick is a highlighted selection, not a popularity score. Being added to the directory does not imply a recent product launch.

Room for the next idea

The directory starts with a small collection. New listings can include early-stage companies, independent software and established tools with a useful approach.
